Q) What is aquaBooty™?
A) aquaBooty™ classes are perfect for making the transition back to your pre-baby fitness level, if not better. If this is your first time exercising or you are looking for an effective alternative to your typical exercise program aquaBooty™ is right for you. We invite you to join a class, even if it's been years since you had a baby.
Q) How soon can I start exercising after I deliver or after an injury?
A) When you can begin exercise is up to your healthcare professional's suggestion. On average OB/GYNs advise that a few weeks after delivery is sufficient time to wait before resuming an exercise program. However, your delivery experience will dictate the answer that is appropriate.
Q) Does aquaBelly or aquaBooty™ offer "mommy & me classes"?
A) Classes are an excellent way to get "me time", so they are just for you. Whether you are a mom, spouse, a working person or someone who volunteers you probably realize how little time you get to spend just focusing on yourself. Our classes are a break from the day to spend focusing your mind, body and spirit. We have plenty of recommendations of physical activities you can enjoy with your family. Many instructors teach aquaBelly Baby™ Class for Mom & Baby. Please contact your instructor for more details.
Q) What if I have an injury or restriction?
A) Since all classes are conducted fully in the water they are the perfect way to exercise if you have an injury or restriction. The water provides a nearly weightless environment to exercise in. aquaBooty™ instructors are specially trained to monitor proper form and to modify workouts to accommodate your specific needs.
