It has officially been one month since the launch of aquaBelly "Water Fitness for Moms & Moms-to-Be". We are excited to offer classes at The Club at Canyon Springs in Boynton Beach and look forward to acquiring new luxury facilities to teach at in Boca Raton, Delray Beach and other areas of Palm Beach & Broward Counties. Water fitness for pre and postnatal women has never been more exciting.
aquaBelly Fitness proudly announced the launch of the company on August 24, 2010. aquaBelly Fitness was founded by Samantha Marcus and Kristy Wexler, whom have collectively spent the last 7 years teaching self-rescue swimming to infants and toddler, when they had the thought to branch out to helping their students Moms with their subsequent pregnancies to feel and look better.
The aquaBelly program was created with moms and moms-to-be n mind as well as women that are pre-conception looking to become more fit prior to pregnancy. The program is taught by highly trained instructors in both pre and postnatal fitness. aquaBelly is safer than than land based exercise for expecting women since the exercises are performed in the water allowing for less wear and tear on the joints and creating an enviroment that is safer from injury as it is buoyant and nearly non-impact.
The launch party for aquaBelly Fitness was held on August 24, 2010 at the Falcon House in Delray Beach, FL. Aside from introducing their new company; the proceeds from the party went to benefit The March of Dimes and The Tri-County Humane Society through generous donations of the attendees. Friends, Family, Moms & Moms-to-Be as well as their spouses & partners enjoyed delicious appetizers and "aqua-Bellinis" provided by the Falcon House. Raffle prizes were given out at the end of the night, donated by aquaBelly's partners in business: Lilly Pulitzer of Boca Raton, Luxxe Activewear, Another Level Health, SpaDoula, and Grow & Blossom Family Yoga.
aquaBelly Fitness looks forward to its future success and encourages moms and moms-to-be get in the water and stay active; as well as letting women know there are safer ways to exercise while in their childbearing years.
