Women all over the world are faced with an issue known as Diaper Need, which is the struggle to supply their babies with the essential amount of diapers that they need. Many mothers cannot afford to keep their babies in fresh diapers each day, so they must reuse diapers that they have cleaned. Putting their babies in wet/soiled diapers leads to discomfort, crying, and severe diaper rash. These mothers often refuse to put their babies in day care because they cannot supply them with enough diapers to last throughout the day. This means that they must take time off from work or school, and be restricted from leaving the house. HUGGIES, a well known diaper brand, recently completed a study showing that 1 in 3 mothers deal with this Diaper Need and are struggling each day.
aquaBelly fitness is pairing up with the Junior League of Boca Raton to bring awareness to this issue. Through creating a Diaper Drive, the Diaper Bank can continually be stocked to support the women faced with Diaper Need. Because every baby is precious and deserves to be placed in clean diapers, it is important that everyone who is able to help, do their part in suppling these babies with the essential amount of diapers that they need.
